IAFIL is actively involved in improving the conditions of the cultivation practices of Cotton globally, that is why IAFIL is a member of The Better Cotton Initiative/ BCI. The Better Cotton Initiative/BCI, connects people and organizations that treat cotton from from field to store, to promote the measurable improvement of the agricultural environment and the economical conditions in areas that produce cotton.

The Global Organic Textile Standard has been developed by leading international organisations in organic farming in order to ensure that the consumer is provided with organic textile products obtained in compliance with strict environmental and social criteria applied at all levels of the production, from the harvesting of natural fibres to the subsequent manufacturing phases, up to labelling of the finished product. The certification is accepted in all the main markets. ICEA is accredited to verify the approval of chemicals that can be used in the textile ennobling of GOTS certified textile products.

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a worldwide independent testing and certification system for textile products, on the basis of extensive product checks and regular Company on-site visits.

IAFIL believes in sustainability and corporater responsibility: for this reason the comany proposes yarns with important voluntary certification, which respond to very stringent environmental, productive and social protocols.
